Finding a story... Or three

Idea's:

News: “Warzone” -  a short film based on the recent news article about “Armed Response Police” units being called to Great Yarmouth after several knife attacks. It will follow the story of the lead detective and how they investigate the crimes. The genre of the film would be a mix between Film Noir and crime/drama

Personal Experience: “Lost” – a short film following a young female protagonist who is trying to deal with and investigate the murder of her friend. She is haunted by dreams/memories of what happened, and what could happen if she lets anyone else close to her, so when people try to help her, she won’t let them close and pushes them away. She believes that she knows who was behind the murder of her friend, but is struggling to find enough evidence to get the police to re-open the case. I believe the film would probably by rated 15 as there may be references to sexual innuendo’s, some strong language and violent scenes.

Inspiration From media: “Fortune” – a short film based on the premise of Uncharted and Indiana Jones where we follow the main protagonist and his assessments on an adventure to find a piece of forgotten/mythical treasure. The genre of the film will be an action-adventure film, with aspects of comedy and romance as well.
